About Education Plus & Our Founder

Education Plus has served students and families in the Greater Philadelphia area for more than 40 years. Our students attend a variety of educational institutions, including public school districts and private schools throughout the suburban Philadelphia region.

 

Education Plus is based in Jenkintown, and was founded by Mitch Blatstein. With a master's in applied psychology, a bachelor's of business administration in marketing, and private school teaching experience, Mitch brings a wealth of knowledge to Education Plus. His diverse background has given him a thorough understanding of the many approaches students take to learning. Mitch's professional and volunteer experiences, both inside and outside of the classroom, have furthered his commitment to helping people broaden their education.

About Our Instructors

The best tutors are those who understand the demands placed on today's students, and that is why we employ active and retired instructors, as well as professionals who are experts in their fields. Our tutors realize that each student learns differently and can target her or his needs without a rigorous testing process. They also value communication – working with students, parents, and school personnel to ensure that children have a network of support to help them reach their learning goals.
